    Brit Films

I find the movies I can watch several times are mostly the ones I can relate to, Billy Elliot, Brassed Off, The Full Monty etc. Coming from a mining family in the Midlands I guess this is no surprise, these are followed by other british movies such as Lock Stock, The Crying Game, 4 Weddings, Notting Hill. Next up are some of the foreign films such as Hero and Flying Daggers, then finally the Hollywood stuff such as Lord of the Rings, Bladerunner etc. Most of Clint Eastwoods stuff I really enjoy once but somehow it doesn't have that ability to make me watch it several times.

I'm not saying that Brassed Off is a better movie than Bladerunner, but somehow I can watch it more often. Which movies can you watch over and over?

Lately when surfing the channels I can seem to get past No Country For Old Men, great movie, a little dark but I loved it. I thought Fargo was a great one too. Coen brother directed both.
I did catch a British move the other day that had me belly laughing, Death At A Funeral.
Others I could watch a couple time of year would be; Shawshank Redemption, Marathon Man with Laurence Olivier, Quigley Down Under, 12 Angry Men and the Godfather.

Even though I have a copy of it, I find myself watching Zodiac whenever it's on TV. Great movie. Same goes for Hot Fuzz/Shaun of the Dead, 28 Weeks Later.

He posed the question "which flicks can you watch over and over", the title of the thread was misleading. If you had to list only brit films there would be very few that did not put you to sleep.
