Where can you buy a cheap dvd player and what price is reasonable for a basic player

tesco/BigC/Carrefour/Tukom etc etc etc, a cheapy can be had from as little as 650baht.

Buy one of those and you will be buying another one in about a month. If they work at all initially, they usually skip or lock up then fall apart after minimal use. go the extra money and get a Phillips, LG or Sony.

Really, ive had a 700b dvd plays it all machine now for 3 yrs, it gets used daily and has never skipped a beat, i also have a big $$$$ Sony dvd player that i brought out from OZ, it only plays dvd's, doesnt like avi/divX/vcd etc etc. ..... i think i'll stick to me cheapo thanks.

Tesco Lotus usually has a good deal going. Ours was 1050 Bht with active speakers. Plays anything and has a mic input.
