witopia, bbc iplayer and the great firewall of china

As I am moving to China in the New Year I have just installed witopia, a VPN, in order to breach the Great Firewall.
You can choose your proxy location - I chose the UK - and now I can watch BBC iplayer which is great.
It costs 59.99 USD per year (minus a 10% coupon discount I found online). Why pay?, I hear you indignantly cry, instead of using a simple proxy server? Well, these clever chinks are wise to that game and it seems the only way is to pay for a premium provider. As I say, since I can now play iplayer etc I am quite happy with it.
i cant discern any reduction in speed (in Thailand) but I will have to check what its like when there.

I keep posting this and no one reads it

Google "HotSpot Shield" download it and install it.

In your tray you will find an icon and you can "connect" when you need to bypass the filter, and "disconnect" when you don't.

It's free but you get the odd advert.
