I use VLC although i've seen KMplayer handle a few files that VLC wouldn't play.

VLC for movies.

WMP10 for music (Is there another media player that has as good a filing system as WMP10? And no, iTunes doesn't).

Second that, and additionally WMP 10 also lets you rip music into MP3!

Still doesn't appear to have much of a library function. I'll pass.

Oh, and the 'skin' looks like it was designed by a stoned, tree-hugging hippy.

I like MPCStar for quick and dirty video viewing. (Especially the dirty <heh>).

VLC otherwise.

But when you say media player, are you looking for something more like a jukebox type of thing?

For video you just can't beat VLC, none of this getting extra codecs stuff, it plays anything. And the files don't have to be fully downloaded too, so u have something stuck at 97.1% and it'll still play with only minor glitches.

VideoLAN, Free streaming and multimedia solutions for all OS!
