How Do You Watch Down loaded Movies on Your TV ?

My normal route to watch movies ive downloaded is to put it on a USB Thumb drive or burn them to a DVD - RW , my 950 Baht DVD player has a USB port so I can play the movies using the USB Thumb Drive or the burnt DVD , some times the quality of the USB movie is not too good even thought when I play the movie on my Mac and the movie is perfect , burning each movie to a DVD is time consuming but gives good results. I am now looking at other ways to watch the downloaded movies on my normal Home Tv , and have come across these Two Media player units ..

    1. The Playon! HD - HDMI

    2. WD TV Live HD media player

On sale in Thailand for around 5,000 Baht

WD TV Live HD Media Player ( WDBAAN0000NBK )

As ive never used a Media Player before I was wondering how you guys watched your downloaded movies on your TV , any advice or comments - Thanks

    Media players

There's another thread here about Wireless A/V put I posted this - comes with a 1Tb drive so you can store stuff on it and keep your PC disk free.

    Iomega ScreenPlay Pro 1TB Hard Drive Portable Media Player - 34151 - 225017 | pcRUSH.com

I also also have a Snazio MediaCinema NMT in the bedroom with a 2Tb external drive and a 1Tb Internal drive.

They both network so you can move stuff from your PC to them, and they'll take DVD drives or Flash drives as well.

(And yes, I need that amount of space, a ripped DVD is several gigabytes).

I've got the WD HD player, It works fine. Got a 1 TB HD that is full of movies thanks to my BIL in Oz and I transfer stuff that I downloaded to a 250 GB HD. Has 2 usb ports as well. Don't know of that other brand but can vouch for the WD.

As far as I know the WD TV Live is not yet avaiable in Thailand , I know some one who has just bought one from eBay ( Malaysia ) ...

    Code:
    http://shop.ebay.com.au/i.html?LH_PrefLoc=2&_nkw=WD%20TV%20Live&_fln=1&_trksid=p3286.c0.m283
It arrived in Thailand by Fed Ex and there was an extra 600 Baht import charge, so far reports are very good .
