"Light My Fire" by the Doors. '66/'67 Not sure, but I think it was 6:49. some reports said 7:00 but it was less by a coupla seconds. There was the radio vrsion that was shortened to 3:20 something, but all the kool stations like KMPX and KSAN played the full version.
Man, that was like the longest song in history, or somethin', back then. Still a good listen; coulda been longer though.

Short or long songs depending on how long you repeat them:-
"The wheels on the bus"- unknown
"I know a song that will get on your nerves"-unkown
    and the all time classic
"Here we go, here we go, here we go"-unkown

    Led Zeppelin

Dazed and Confused (live) has always been my favorite song that took up the whole side of an album. Not sure how long that one is, 28:00 minutes or so?

Nope. I was in a band and we used to do a cover of the Napalm Death song for a laugh (well, we thought it was funny even if no one else did).

    I have the Marillion one.

You're right. 1.563 seconds. I apologise to everyone who had to suffer our inferior version.

Bohemian Rhapsody went on for a couple of days and Lil Louis French Kiss ended about 9 minutes after I had dumped me load in the local bike.
