Ever since I was kid I loved this genre of movies. What's your favorite and least favorite? The Day the World Ended, The Thing, Them, The Blob etc. were all great fun to watch as a kid. I've never stopped enjoying them.

For me, Blade Runner by Ridley Scott is the best of all time and Dune by David Lynch is the worst of all time.

Original Godzilla movies were the schnizzle.

The scene where he fights Mothra, the giant caterpillar, is pure genius.

As a sci-fi film, i thought Black Beauty was pathetic. Bloody well thoroughly enjoyed that film with people in a space rocket shooting monsters with ray guns though. Can't remember what it's called. It was in black and white. I enjoyed 2001 as well, but can't remember what that was all about.

2001 + Blade Runner

Anything from the starwars/trek franchises are at the bottom of my list. JaJa Binks was a fucking insult to the fans of *wars, and the Trek storyline is equally feeble at this point.

THX1138 was a good flick and no longer very from reality on may levels....Saw it in high school in an elective Sci-Fi course... Wouldn't commit to it being my fav though...
