    Funny fucker.

I need to tell my on the piss with Bonehead story.

I met Bonehead & Sek the lead singer of Loso the night before their concert in Hollywood Ratchada, and we got quite pissed and Sek invited me to the concert and said I could have back stage passes. He then asked me what was my favourite Loso song and said he'd dedicate it to me and my bar. I stuttered and ummed and aared pretending to think of a LoSo song I liked. (I'd never even heard of LoSo) Luckily he stepped in and said "I'll tell you what, I'll sing Don't Look Back In Anger" by Oasis seeing as Boneheads here." (Phew!!)

Bonehead didn't know his way round town so I agreed to meet him at 5pm on the day of the concert to go for a few beers, the concert was at about 10pm. So I took 2 mates along and met him and the bass guitarist and drummer came along too.

We got absolutely trollied and at about 9.30 someone shouted "Oooo Fuck! The concert."

So all 6 of us piled into a taxi drunk as fuck and made it down to Hollywoods just in time for those guys to get on stage and play the first song. Fair play to those guys, they rocked out even though they were pished and about half way though the set Sek shouts out. "This one's for TFP!! Don't look back in anger!!!"

It was fuckin cool. I'll try and find the photo of us all absolutely blotto at the after party.

If you play with the play/pause button you can actually get these 2 paying in time. (I know, not a lot to do today.)

    The Alphabet Song

    Identical tune. Somebody's a serious rip-off artist.

It's one of the most iconic Australian pop songs of all time, but a legal spat has broken out over whether the Men at Work song 'Down Under' is actually a rip-off of a children's song.

The '80s anthem rocked its way up the worldwide charts, but the manliness of the song about beer and women has been brought into question by claims it's a Girl Guides song.

Lawyers say 'Down Under' is a rip-off of the children's classic 'Kookaburra Sits in the Old Gum Tree' which was written in 1934 by Melbourne music teacher, Marion Sinclair, for a Girl Guides competition.

Still, a fine tune, and anyroad up the sheepshagging Aussies invented it.

I always got the nod (musically) that Men at Work deliberately cocked a snook in the general direction of the kookoburra song, which was part of the appeal of the song.
Hey ho, that's globalisation for ya.
I think i'll sue me mum for giving birth.

The judge found that though he didn’t believe George Harrison purposefully plagiarized the song, the two songs were essentially the same, only displaying minor differences to note and chord. George Harrison was found guilty of ‘subconscious plagiarism’ and a judgment was filed against him in the amount of $587,000.00 of which the full amount was paid and the judgment dismissed in 1981.
Here's a few more if you can be arsed. I find this subject quite pointless, given that every fucking pop song released in the last ten years sounds like every other shit fucking pop song released in the last ten years. Especially the "Nigga" rap and hip hop bollocks force fed to us by a culturally sterile recording industry.

Long live downloading ripped MP3s, it might just put these cnuts out of business.
