    top gear again

It just keeps getting better and better.
The last one had me in stitches,
The 3 brought Classic cars at action which they had to use in a time rally in Majorca, they were assigned Navigators.
I will leave is there but DL it if you can.
    Fvcking brilliant.

Brilliant. Excellent TV. Stunning photography. I'm on Mallorca at the mo and have driven that route many times. Too much traffic in the summer, but in the Winter superb!!!

Although it's still a good watch, the budget cuts at the BBC seem to have had an effect.

    Clarkson, calling his navigator "Manuel"

Last weeks ice racing was good as well, the decals they put on the side of cars looked innocent enough until they opened the doors and they showed as "Merde" and "tit"

I don't know how they keep it up, just gets better and better and to see how it could get stale quickly just look at the Ozzie one, same formula but so boring I don't even watch it now.

The guy from AC /DC knew how to peddle a car around smoothly and quickly.
I knew he was on a fast one when I saw how smooth he was but near the fastest time on the ladder for a 62 year old, not shabby at all.

my first look at top gear was the s13e06 as recommended - not that impressed , scripted lines were not very funny - audience would laugh if he burped.

also d/loaded the vietnam episode as my brother said it was good scenery so I will check it out also.

Brian Johnson was the coolest bit of the show , gave the car a good flogging while enjoying himself immensely - marvelous
If you torture data for enough time , you can get it to say what you want.

The Vietnam one for me was one of the best, they tried too Honda wave and Vespa from South to North.

I will leave it at that or I will spoil it for you, but cracking stuff.

Ozzies this is one top gear to make you proud. They ran a Holden Bathurst 6.2L Supercharged, and a Malloo.
The Stig managed to peddle the ute around as fast as an Aston DB9, not bad for a truck and the Holden as fast as a BMW M5.
The sight of the Bathurst completely and utterly sideways with that Stuka like scream from the supercharger was enough to make the hair stand up on yer neck.

    Fvcking Magic.
Stick ya Audi and Merc executive puddings up yer arse, I want one of these Holdens.

I watched the Vietnam one and thought it was ok , though all 3 of them come across as tossers.

the main man with his lower lip quivering like a child about riding a motorcycle - bet there was some sulking offscreen.

I don't mind seeing the cars but the pommy gits can just fcuk off.

I thought Clarkson was going to drive over a cliff or something in his depressing view of the future of motoring at the end!

My brother has a highly modified Turbo Charged SS Commodore.
It's a rocket sled. He likes to take it out to the drags and has had it down to 10.2 seconds for the 400 metres. He stopped modifying it because the rules said that if he went below 10 seconds then he'd have to equip it with a roll cage and he didn't really want to be commuting to work with a RC installed.

Here's a video that he sent me before he had it going extra quick.. Its up against an almost stock SS. This is only a 11.79 seconds, times were slow because of extreme heat (track temperature was 56 deg C).
I'd hate to think how much he has spent on it though..
