    Classic songs/albums that never date.

The feel on TD at the moment is that alot of people are heading home for various reasons and I wish them all well.

Me I'm the other way round I'm heading back to Thailand soon.

I love my music especially bands that seem to produce tracks that never date, I don't do Ipod head phone shite I like to listen to music with a beer and with friends.

Which brings me on too the subject topic.

You can buy copy shite CD's here in Thailand or download your freebies, for me I love the proper feel of a real album, vinyl or CD it doesnt matter if the music is good enough its worth investing in the legit version.

If your off on your jollies for a while, which album/albums would you take?

For me Aqualung - Jethro Tull

    Purely for escapism of course!

    Landlubber.

Hoots, Multi media is one of my favorite sections.
anyway back to Subject, I am now listening to Meat loafs "Midnight at the lost and found"
As for medium, I have about 1,000 Vinyl records and have just resurrected my Goodwin Basis turntable and purchased (ouch) a new Benz-Micro Cartridge.

some neil young with crazy horse, pink floyd, franz zappa, traffic, tom waits, little feat, ry cooder, kate bush, led zep, jeff beck, cream, miles davis, peter gabriel, weather report, the who and of course a large portion of bob dylan and bert jansch.

i agree music should be listened to without headphones but needs must sometimes, but these days you cant deny the convenience of mp3 players, and they can be played through special speakers or tv surround sound set ups.
