    Streaming Thai TV

I used to have ThaiTV.TV for the missus. That $100 dollars a month deal

Spliff found an alternative that he thought was quite good.

I am impatient in waiting for an answer from him and wondered if anybody else knew what the new rival to ThaiTV.tv is

    and

If they are any good and the streaming is more reliable than the ThaiTV who used to get clogged down in peak hours in Thailand to other countries.

Crickitty, you are the fast waiter.

    Thai TV , Thai TV Online , ดูทีวี , ดูทีวี ออนไลน์ , ละคร , ละครไทย

8$ per month, cheaper if you pay for multiple months as well.
I don't know what you could have been paying 100$ for.

Not so sure about that Seesan

    It doesn't do live TV.

Will test it for a month

Test out ThaiTV.tv again and then decide what one to go for

$100 per month is not cheap.

How much would it be to get a satellite dish?

Well, I say, that's about right. Seesan gives you the abilty to watch dramas, comedy shows and music shows from the past. Does Thaitv let you do that or is it only a live stream? At that price it might be worth getting both.

    Thai TV does both.

Movies, shows, dramas, music etc. and live tv.

Had the odd problem with it streaming, had the same last night with seesan.

Now you have got it streaming, see if you can copy things to your hard drive. It would be nice to stream them in the background and watch them knowing it isn't going to stutter because of the buffering being too slow.

Wife found a new one she says has more shows, karaoke and "tuk Young" (her words). Called DOOtv. The sample stream looks real good, but of course you would expect that given it's a "sample"'

DOOTV.tv : Thai TV Entertainment On Demand

Anybody check it out yet? Any good?

Her Seesan runs out tomorrow so I reckon we'll give it a go. Imagine it's about the same cost as seesan. Seems you gotta sign up before you see the prices.

Just make sure you have unlimited MBs on your internet plan because streaming video uses up heaps of MBs and you could easily go over your limit. Could end up very costly.

Well, thanks for the above info, wife got dootv, 5quid a month and she says it's better than seesan, has more programming and the picture is better. It's not live stream, it's one day old or months older in archieves. My experience w/ live streaming from Thailand is that it's not worth watching. It's for the wife, I don't watch Thai TV and what TV I do watch is DL'ed from torrents in HD.

Sure are a lot of them, makes it harder to determine which is best.
