This reminds me of summer, in a backward, reverse sort of way, insofar as it makes me feel cold.

Hot fun in the summertime by sly and the family stone!

What a great song and one of the first I used to practice too when I was learning how to play the drums (16 beat) with an offbeat bass. Probably my first introduction to funk as well and a great band.

Have not heard it for 40 years and thanks for that mate.

If you were a teenager when this one came out in 1973/74, this one will likely bring back some memories. It sure does for me, including my 'first time'.
