someone gave him my number, god knows who.

he kept calling and asking where i was, i moved three streets and half a dozen bars, before he finally caught up with me.

It was quite surreal, we came blazing down the street hanging off the side of a tuk tuk. looking exactly like, himself.

I had to have a beer with him to be polite,

mind you he was then well keen to visit all the ladyboy bars.....

Video is a lot better Scamp, got to say that it's improved a lot.

But you voice, FFS man, are you trying to put on a forced posh accent with an east end twang.

I'm sure they banned children playing mounted sports in middle east, but they are encouragin it here

I've been thinking about this for a bit this morning scmpy.

Problem I see is that you are another non-descript young male TV reportereque trying to be funny/clever. etc etc. Not trying to be horrible here.

There are dozens of you out there. There was that guy who did horrible-traditional things around the world - one i remember is taking psychoactives with a tribe in south america - can't remember his name.

the you have that guy who goes around looking at how engineering things are made - again name I can't remember.

and the guy who looks are really big things- name I an't remember.

see the pattern they do things but their names just don't stick in my memory.

You need to find something that makes you stand out from these people. something that people will say - Didyou see TGS polo review last night, crazy fucker ........

I quite enjoyed that polo one. People will but it needs something scampyish.

Maybe you could try to do things for free and nt pay for them - that might be entertaining.

i think he'd be better off staying behind the camera and employing somebody a bit more professional to do the commentary.

a Welsh lilt is a nice accent.

Hmm, okay ..For starters I'm not aspiring to be the next big TV star - my only goal at the moment is to have an income so I can live in Bangkok. Secondly, yes I am trying to present/voice over it in an entertaining way because pretty much all foreign TV in Thailand is dull as ditchwater for fear of offending anyone in this delicate country, you don't need to be offensive to entertain (unless you're Jonothan Ross). I'm not trying to be one of the guys you mentioned doing those Discovery Channel shows though I wouldn't say no if I ever had an offer.

I'm still at that stage where I'm working for peanuts, very underpaid but at least after 7 years in Asia I'm legal, I don't have to do a visa run every 15 or 30 days and I'm building up a good reputation. I can't ask for more than that, I'm not a greedy bloke. Anything that transpires from all this is a bonus, I can't really think of something that would make me stand out from the rest out there, but I stand out from the rest in Thailand - that'll do for now.

Anyway, suppose it's a compliment coming from you - part of me wants to green you, I'm trying to fight it.

^ Well that seems a little drastic, but I'm sure the Scamp will manage.

    Before Bruce Parry

Guy was in a hut in South America - there was a western toilet and he had to weara nappy.

He could see goblins jumping over the toilet.

Fair enough, I can see how more than one guy would want to try those psychoactives...

After all, who wouldn't want to see goblins jumping over the toilet, beats the hell out of putting the last dry slice of wholeweat in the toaster and procrastinating excruciatingly soul-murdering work one should have finished two-three days ago.

Bruce Parry's good though I think.

    Erowid Online Books : "PIHKAL" - #20 2C-B

Way back in days gone by a batch of what was sold as E came to the UK. Speckled stars people called them. They were thin with multi colour specs in them. Interesting thing was there was no MDMA in them at all. Just Meth and 2-CB.

People were going out to night clubs and taking them. Getting the speedy meth feeling no loved up feeling. Taking a couple more pills and then suffering the effects of the 2-CB.

On it's own it's quite pleasant. Enjoyed it a few times from chemist friends on the continent, chuck in some meth, a crowded club, the unsureness of what is happening and things can turn quite unpleasant.

One particular night at their peak. The only pills around were these stars. This was before people really had any idea of what was going on with them. One Drum n Bass night at a university in the NE of England. I would happily say 80% of the people on 'E' that night were on these pills.

That night I met and helped out dozens upon dozens of people who didn't know what was happenig to them. From a group of girls petrified in the corner of the club because there were arms of dead people trying to grab them through the floor.

To my mates missus who was running away from my mate because he had huge dDumbo sized ears and was chasing her around. He was actually chasing her around because he thought people were chasing her around the club - it was actually him chasing her.

If you read that link from PHIKAL Alexander Shulgins book you can see that at low controlled doses the accounts are pleasant. And it is a very nice warm psychoactive.

Get up to those 60mg plus which is what a lot of these kids were taking 3-4-5 pills over an hour or so and they were heading into brain melting territory.

    That makes no sense.

I'm making less money than a low end kindergarten teacher, I'm on a low rung of the broadcasting ladder and I'm owed quite a bit. Beat that for arrogance/loftiness you weirdo.

No, it's tied up in a house in France and I've had no fiscal help from my mothers pocket since 1992.
