Right, I downloaded/watched this last night. Good start to the season. In a bit of a quandry now though, do I d/l and watch every week as they are released or resist the temptation and wait a few months for the release of a 'Top Gear Season 10' torrent so I can watch them all in a row as is my usual habit?

A question of this magnitude needs mulling over and fermenting with some beer.

THey try to cross the English channel in their cars from the previous show.

    James May's sinks, twice.
    Hammonds sinks once.
Clarksons pickup and outboard get all the way to France.

Test drive teh new R8 - it's ace.

    that was about it.

Oh yes Clarkson put a lit pipe the wrong way in his mouth and got hot embers on his tongue.

No need to watch it now.

Pity it didn't set his Pubic head on fire, he's a twat because he doesn't like bikes.

Hampster and May do though. Think they both own bikes actually.

Does anyone else think Hammond looks a little bit odd after his accident?

I can't quite put my finger on it but he looks somehow different.

His new haircut leaves a lot to be desired but other than that no, still looks same to me... Perhaps an inch or two shorter.

He looked weirder in the first episode than the second. Looks like he had a serious facelift.

Looks like he's suffering from 'Bells Palsy' (which I have my self). It shows up as a weakening or loss of control in the facial muscles (only on either the left or right side), Fairly common with head injuries as there's only one bundle of nerves that controls each side of your face (it emerges from your skull below your ear and then spreads out over that side).

Most of the time you have near normal control over the facial muscles but occasionaly pressure on the nerve bundle causes total loss of control and it takes a while before you have normal control over your face.

In most cases, you never regain full control, so your face always looks a bit lopsided.

As soon as I saw them doing it I thought they might. What with the anti-smoking legislation in the UK now. Something tells me that they knew they would and did it anyway just to spite it.

My grandfather had something similar to that. He was meant to have got it from sitting in a draft in his office for years. Not sure if that is true or not, but he used to dribble his tea out the side of his mouth when he was having difficulty with it.

At least Clarkson showed everyone the dangers of smoking.

With me it's beer. But at least I have an excuse for dribbling everywhere when I'm pissed.
