    Banged Up Abroad

    .:: RAW TV ::.

    Pretty good series.

    People doing stupid things for money and getting caught.

    First series was very good, second is proving to be as good.

    Yeah this is a great series. There's only 6 episode, though, right?

    To be more specific, it's about people trying to smuggle drugs in/out of the country and getting caught. My favorite ep is when the couple attempts to smuggle drugs out of Costa Rica. During the whole episoe they're doing interviews with them and you're not sure what happened at the end. But at the end the camera zooms out and you see them inside a tiny jail cell.
    The ep with that chick that tried to smuggle heroin out of Thailand is good too. She wrote the book "Forget you have a daughter". Complete idiot - the lady at the airport pretty much told her to go to the toilet after she had been x-rayed and yet she stayed put.
    "Fuck off. And take your stupid cult with you."

    ^thanks for that. Watched series 2 today - completely addictive. The best was the first episode where they were able to tape themselves going mad in the prison. Fascinating stuff.

    Is this not by two different channels?

    The first one I saw was by channel 4 and the current one is channel 5?

    The first series was shocking because you thought these were actors or there was a happy ending then the camera pulled back and the background was a curtain in the cell or jail

    but you have to say they were all fuking mental for trying to smuggle drugs in the first place. stupid stupid stupid.
    You dont pay them to stay for the night, you pay them to leave in the morning
