actually they do now, there was a 1997 release and another 2004 release re-mastered from original in anamorphic format for DVD,

the 1983 release just got re-mastered into DVD just a few months ago,

When I extracted the .rar it gave me a folder with this name

    arw-witwiobl.dvdrip.xvid-subs Folder

    inside the folder is

    arw-witwiobl.dvdrip.xvid.idx

arw-witwiobl.dvdrip.xvid.rar - extract this one and this should appear

    arw-witwiobl.dvdrip.xvid.sub

I put the .sub and .idx file in with the avi and checked the open subtitles box and it worked.

    Vantage Point,

action movie, entertaining, nice twisted plot, but predictable ending, so not unforgivable

a lot like Momento, but not as boring, action scenes are from different angles with a different rewinding to the beginning

^Agreed. Forest Whitteker was very poor, especially taking into consideration his brilliant prior performances.

Forrest performance was indeed very poor in the movie, not sure what he was doing there

definitely not art, but nice entertainment, the plot was nicely twisted and the rewinding kept the movie going, or else it would have lasted a whole 20min

^ I thought it was more irritating in Memento, as the movie had a better story and actors, but the constant rewinding eventually made the movie boring, distracting from the real story

For Vantage Point, it was perfect, nice twisted plot that would have lasted 20min without the rewinding,

    Hellboy 2 The Golden Army

I downloaded this as I thought my 6 year old would love it, turns out he sat and played on the PSP for about an hour which is strange as he loves watching movies.
I thought it was OK, nothing special really. I liked the odd point where Hellboy delivers the odd one liner, quite dry and to the point. Apart from that its a bit messy in parts, theres a soppy bit towards the back end I thought was badly placed, some OK action and a bit of nonsense thrown in.
    Watchable but forgettable tosh.

Ive just read a few critics reviews and theyre ranging from average to 100%, going on about the monsters etc. I didn't see anything monsterlike that blew me away, its made by Guillermo Del Toro who the critics seem to love at the minute.

I found .srt subs for it, probably OCRd from the VOBSUB set you mention. Easier to use. I bet all the anti terrorist internet monitoring agencies are having a tough time now, since the release of that movie on p2p the google searches and presence of osama related stuff must have grown exponentially.

    Shenzen Undone

Having been to China before I looked upon this film with great interest. Set obviously in Shenzen, China it follows the exploits of a man in a baseball cap wearing dodgy paedo sandals with a ropey accent that sometimes sounds slightly Aussie. This is a low budget movie but an interesting insight into the views of the "loads of people in China" and how they view the western influence in their country.
Running time of just over 10 minutes.

You Don't Mess With The Zohan

Adam Sandlers latest movie he plays a top agent in Israel's Mossad agency. He 's sick of all the fighting (which he's bloody awsome at) and escapes to America to become a hair dresser where he bases all his hair cuts on a 20 year old Paul Michell book that he found, and he loves giving all his clients a good seeing to.

I don't want to say too much coz you'll really enjoy the movie.

The movie is full of very close to the bone and politically incorrect jokes and is deffinatly among his top films.

I didn't realize that it had not been on at the cinema when I bought the dvd (I normally wait till its finished at the cinema before buying it on dvd, to get a better copy) but the quality was excellent and after watching it I can't imagine that the thai's will let it last long at the cinema as it's just too dirty. My wife was crying with laughter as was I.

This movie gets 2 thumbs up from the fresh prince.

    Enjoy

Never liked Adam Sandler much but I have seen the trailer for this and I think I might just give him a chance. It does look pretty funny.

Hmmm. Just watched the Zohan trailer and Ive got to say it looks shite. Adam Sandler putting on some crap accent and a few jewish style jokes, great.
I "get" what he tries to do and I still dont find him funny.
