I went to watch that with 3 friends at the cinema in Aberdeen. We rocked up to the afternoon show and thought it would be a really good idea to drop some decent acid before going in.
It was an abnormally warm afternoon with beautiful clear skies in Aberdeen that day.

    Acid dropped we entered.

2-3 hours later we staggered out, unable to speak, barely able to walk.

To cap it off it was dark and snowing huge crystals of snow.

    Unforgettable.

    The movie?
I've no idea to this day if it was good or bad.
    I must watch it again.

Well, I suppose that's one way to totally fuck up your head and ruin your trip.

Must be in the top 10 best movies of all time I think.

The first one to address the perennially engaging AI theme with any depth and also to contrast it with the evolution of intelligence in man.

Even today it is fresh. Must have been mind-blowing in 1968.

Indeed. Ones mind was right royally blown.
I must watch it again without the additives.

Funnily enough I watched it the other day, back to back with 2010.

Very different movies, but both watchable.
