gong to be inLOS for a few weeks R&R and wants to figure out if I can watch Iplayer, any recommendations?

also toying with the idea of bringing my NOWTV box, will it work in Los

will be using cellular iPad or standard iPad picking up hotel or public wifi

Most hotels will have kids cartoon channels anyway, but your best bet is to youtube them. HAve you tried Opera with its built in VPN?
