Photo Hosting Site - any suggestions?

Thanks for all the advice an tips.

I looked at all your suggestions.

Did some more researching.

Sadly nothing came up that is Free, popular and can create folders within folders.

In the end I settled on Imgur.

It does folders, but not sub-folders.


I made some Pork Crackling recently and wanted to share the process, so a few test images ...

Well, that was fairly painless, lets just hope they stick.

^Those look really good...now put a dash of spice(cayenne or similar) on em when they're hot.

Glad you have your image situation ironed out David. I gave up on Photobucket long ago.

Can you use Imgur to post on forums as a guest and then just leave?
Will the pics stay up?

I've used Imgur (w/o singing up) for most of my "Saudi sites" thread and don't wanna' close the window for fear of losing all n sundry.

I had hoped that somebody would come up with a nice easy solution but it does not look as though that is going to happen so this is my suggestion.

I am in the UK and for just under £ 4 per month I have a cpanel with my Internet provider which enables me to have my own website and host my own "stuff". This is a solution which might be suitable for some posters. No problems relating to ownership of pictures.

All my pics are on something called iCloud, whatever that is. No idea how it works.

Flickr and IMGur is great!
Photobucket is good, but the bandwidth is limited. I often use Flickr, it has 1 terrabyte for free.
