The Humanizer is a good film and it is about an Irish homosexual who gets shot in the end.

    Sorry Snakey.

The term's in my mind as a mate of mine sent a Dick pic to his female manager on Line by accident yesterday.

    2 excellent movies.

I downloaded that Wind that shakes the Barley a few months ago, but haven't given it a sconce yet.

Into the West is another good one. I don't suppose that In the name of the father could be considered as Irish.

As for TV Series, Love/Hate was brilliant.

I was going to mention that one, but I thought he meant made in Ireland movies. WTSTB has a Brit director too. But anyhoo the wife and I loved it. It's been several years since we watched it though.

On the back of my DVD I have in hand it says it's an "Irish/British/German/Italian/Spanish Co-Production"

Seventeen-year-old Mary travels from Ireland to London with boyfriend Bimbo and his best friend Mickey. Their first stop is an abortion clinic, and while Mary is in care, Mickey shaves off his hair. Mary discharges herself, and racked with pain and guilt, joins up with the boys who want to stay in London. In despair, Mary jumps into the Thames, and Mickey thinks she is dead. He tells Bimbo that she has gone back to Ireland, and the two boys look for work...

    O Mary This London (1994) | BFI

Tiz a fine movie set in Lahdon, Bimbo is a top lad who'll make you a bit sad in the movie. Mao I remember someone taking the piss out of you before saying that you were a plastic trust fund baby

At least you're not giving it to the terrorist murderers who are running the NI parliament.

I always liked that James Nesbitt.

Bloody Sunday, was well done. Does that count as Irish or are we being pedantic today?

    Sing Street (2016)

Has received a Golden Globe nomination for Best Motion Picture - Musical or Comedy

This film takes us back to 1980s Dublin seen through the eyes of a 14-year-old boy named Conor who is looking for a break from a home strained by his parents' relationship and money troubles, while trying to adjust to his new inner-city public school where the kids are rough and the teachers are rougher. He finds a glimmer of hope in the mysterious, über-cool and beautiful Raphina, and with the aim of winning her heart he invites her to star in his band's music videos. There's only one problem: he's not part of a band...yet. She agrees, and now Conor must deliver what he's promised - calling himself "Cosmo" and immersing himself in the vibrant rock music trends of the decade, he forms a band with a few lads, and the group pours their heart into writing lyrics and shooting videos.
Here's a vid from the movie:

My personal observation is that it's a good movie and very watchable in HD. Available as a torrent download.
“The Master said, At fifty, I knew what were the biddings of Heaven. At sixty, I heard them with docile ear. At seventy, I could follow the dictates of my own heart; for what I desired no longer overstepped the boundaries of right.”
