Lucky Man was the one song of ELP's that I know.

I have now made a firm commitment not to become a rock superstar. It appears they all die too early.

^Nah. We're just getting older. 60's-70's era rock stars weren't exactly role models for healthy lifestyles either.

Liked ELP's version of this:- RIP Greg Lake

As a common man I approve

As for dying young lots of mind expanding drugs and young women doesn't seemed to have slowed Sir Mick Jagger who sprogged only yesterday

I've told all the village kids Santa Toys will be bringing reindeer pies, I hope he doesn't let them down

Truth. An aunt of mine, quite the party girl back in the day, always speaks fondly of cocaine. Gets recurring significant infections of her nasal passages, only she has not figured out the connection. She also has recurring issues with her twat - which she kindly shares the details of - likely due to her heyday activities.

I'm amazed at how many big time musicians suffer from depression (eg. Keith Emerson). Cheering crowds, fame, money, great cars, groupies, long vacations, add it all up apparently its quite awful.

Yes, the highs were very high, but in comparison, the lows must really be the pits.
