    Animal Kingdom Vs Animal Kingdom

Today if I can find a torrent I'll watch the last episode of S01 of Animal Kingdom. First I was wondering why this show was called "animal Kingdom" It's a bit unfair for the animals but I now guess because none of the characters show any trace of "human" feelings. You can check the list of synonyms of treacherous : disloyal, duplicitous, deceptive, false, backstabbing, two-faced, untrustworthy ... they all apply to all of them. That what actually makes a good show that I'm going to miss until next season.
Now to the point. This serie is based on a Australian movie of the same name. Is the movie as good ? better ? or give it a pass ?

Finally was able to watch E10 (season finale). Some memorable quotes :

Pope to Smurf : You're sicker that I'll ever be.

J to cops : My mom, she hated them, but she hated you more. In the end, she's a Cody, and I'm a Cody, too.

Smurf to J : You got some brass balls, kid. You play your cards right, you can do well with us.

Guess you had to bee there.

From the first sentence and title this sounded like something to download for Little Luigietta, apparently not.

Just watched the movie. Same subject, similar story, but treated very differently. First because the movie is only 2 hours long while the TV show is 10, the director has more time for development but also needs to maintain the tension between episode so viewers will come back the following week. Then you can't kill off all the characters because you have to think about season 2. And finally because the movie is set in a nondescript Australian suburb while the movie was shot in sunny California.

IMO the TV serie is more entertaining but the movie is more disturbing (it is possible !) because the characters are at the same time more ordinary but also more neurotics. Again, yes it is possible. So at the end both are worth watching and enjoyable each in their own way.
