Looking For A Good Daily News Site

I'm looking for a new site to read the daily news. I currently read Google, which is limited, and Fox, which, in addition to being Fox, has a shit layout and has far more video news of talking head retards than print news.

Looking for a site with print stories, not videos, with comprehensive news coverage.

    Does such a thing exist?

Have you looked at Algezeera? It has print articles but I don't use it so don't know if you can personalize it to suit your needs.

Drudge is biased right wing crap. Davis do you have a tablet or a smart phone? There are several great apps which link you to an almost infinite number of news resources world wide. Also starting a myyahoo.com page is not a bad idea for windows. You can add all kinds of news links.

Check out myyahoo.com then. You can build the page just the way you like it and add the news sources that you want.

Also reuters.com is a good source.

Davis, is there really such a thing as an unbiased news feed? If you find it, let me know since I am very skeptical of any single site. Too bad there is not a service that can strain out the crap and bias and report some good news.

I'm sure there isn't, but some at least present more of a balance than others.

If you take the Americans on the train story for example, I have rarely seen such horrible, confused, inaccurate drivel as was presented from outlets from the New York Times to the Daily Mail. Two days into it they were still consistently getting it wrong.

But rather than just give up, I will continue to try to find a half decent site. Will let you know if I find one....other than TD.

    economist.com

Skip the Drudge report, it's only an aggregator and it's about as even handed as Daily Kos and the site design came off geocities circa 1993, unless you think this flashing light graphic is the epitome of hipster cool:

Fark.com is as good as it gets as a general news aggregator.

My comment above re TD news was only partially in jest. With a variety of posters accessing numerous news sites, blogs, etc, and with instant feedback being presented, I often find that on major stories, TD is ahead of the curve.
