    All-in-One Desktops

I've grown weary of my 60gb harddrive on my tablet/netbook thing and started looking for something a bit bigger and quicker for home use. Those all in one things look a bit sexy. Are they worth it?

I play some basic games (champ man! and I'd like to be able to play Counter-Strike:GO), other than that I torrent and argue on forums. Could they handle that?

How much should I expect to pay in Thailand?

Would like a vague idea so I can bullshit a bit when I go looking...
I'd like to see what morning looks like
Don't wanna drink pint after pint
I wanna wake up without feeling sick
    But I can't cuz I'm a drug-abusing alcoholic

The iMac's are excellent. I've had a 24" iMac for the last 7 years with no problems, though getting maybe a little long in the tooth now. I'll upgrade to the 27" retina model within the next 2 to 3 months.

The prices include both wireless keyboard and wireless mouse.

    iMac - iMac ???? - Apple Store (?????????)

I don't do games and am using a HP Omni all-in-one. But they come in all specs. 12,000-ish up to 39,000-ish depends what you need. Mine is low end. A friend has been using his for years.

Basically a notebook with a big screen. I didn't want PC case on the floor or on the desk , separate monitor etc.. etc.

Just stick a unit on the desk plug in and ...
Better to think inside the pub, than outside the box?
I apologize if any offence was caused. unless it was intended.

I bought the Lenovo Ideacentre 27" and I've been happy with it ever since. Rocket fast and loads of screen so I can abuse pleb coffin dodgers on Speakers corner whilst simultaneously monitoring emails and torrents.

And I've been running Windows 10 on it since the first tech preview without a problem.

Can't remember what I paid at the time, but they're about $1200 now.

I'm not a 'gamer', however I thought that the OP mentioned an all-in-one, which for me means a desktop PC for which you only need a keyboard and mouse/track pad? Some of the posts are talking about seperste monitors, upgrading hardware etc etc. Maybe I read it wrong.

All-in-One PC Thailand, Lenovo All-in-One PC Thailand, HP All-in-One PC Thailand, Acer All-in-One PC Thailand, Asus All-in-One PC Thailand Thailand - invadeIT

looks like anything with a decent processor is overpriced - I expect you are paying for the big touchscreen which you don't want in the desktop configuration ( or even laptop )

why not a 15k laptop plugged into a 24 inch samsung 1080p screen - and a Buy TP-LINK Archer C7 AC1750 Wireless Dual Band Gigabit Router - invadeit.co.th with openwrt and a big hard drive in a usb3 enclosure for torrenting and media serving
If you torture data for enough time , you can get it to say what you want.

Aren't laptops a bit more difficult for swapping out and upgrading various parts in the future?

Than a normal PC that is pretty much unbolt, slip out, slip in, play.

yes - but all you will want to upgrade is ram and install a SSD - and the laptop you can also take into the bedroom and plug into the bigscreen for romantic evenings watching porn ( bluetooth as remote from your phone ) - take it to the toilet so you can optimally post on teakdoor etc

Isn't a touch screen a bit useless for something you don't either:

    1) hold in your hand.
    2) lie down flat.
    3) Use for some sort of media presentation

Can't imagine wanting to use my monitor as one.
