A cheap and cheerful Kodi Box

First you get yourself one of these for $40 from Amazon.

If you want to be clever and you have a US address/card and a VPN, you can use the apps that it comes with. But here's the fun part.

Download TVMC, which is a self-configuring version of Kodi/XBMC.

Then you have to sideload it to the Fire TV Stick. A little more complicated but if you follow the instructions you'll be OK.

    All the instructions are here:

How to install XBMC/Kodi on an Amazon Fire TV Stick - Liliputing

Obviously where it says XBMC you use TVMC.

Then, providing you have half decent Wifi, the wonderful world of dodgy online entertainment awaits you.

    Simples huh?

You can go a step further and install Kodi and IPTV Stalker, which is a (currently on trial) commercial quality streaming service, with every channel you can think of.

My local only has BeIn sport so I was a bit pished off the cricket wasn't on last night, and no live sport at all.

Plugged one of these in and watched them all scratch their heads working out why Sky Sports 2 was on in the sandpit.

I use one of those mail forwarding addresses.

    But I'm not in Thailand.

Maybe someone else can give you the Thai alternative.
