    Ghost C Drive

Got a clicking noise coming from the C: drive.

    Win 7.

Wanna ghost/clone the whole thing onto a spare HDD and swap it out.

Any suggestions for software to do this?

I downloaded Norton Ghost but the free version has the 'clone' disk option disabled.

Win 7 has a built in backup utility now but it does not seem to have a 'clone' entire HDD option.

    ^^ ^^^ Thanks

    ^Thankyou for that suggestion Harry.

May I suggest to the mods that the forum link be changed from 'Computer News' to 'Computers' so people could find the correct sub-forum to post general IT queries.

Also while we are on the subject could the Multimedia forum be changed to TV and Movies and be moved to the Arts and Entertainment area.

Also could the Photography sub-forum be moved to a new hobbies and pastimes category and could the Religion and Philosphy subforum be extracted back out of 'Speakers Corner'.

Not bad suggestions, although I think "Computers and Technology" might be better.

There is an overlap with things like media players, Chromecasts, etc., not just the TV & Movies but how to play them.

Maybe a subforum under "TV & Movies" called "Multimedia Toys and Tools" or something?
