IPAD 1 - videos upside down

Title says it, I recently took a bunch of videos at a wedding but seems the ipad was upside down. Obviously I didn't know anything was amiss when I reviewed the videos on the ipad, because they play the right way up o matter which way you turn the ipad, but once transferred to a computer it was a dampener.

I've tried VLC, a couple of other players and eventually also WMP as a last resort.

Any way to get them back the right way?

use GOM player to rotate and mirror. I have the same issue with my action camera but GOM sorts it.

you can also use windows live movie maker to edit.

    VLC fix

open the VLC program and click the Tools menu.

    Next, press Effects and Filters.

The default display is Audio Effects. Hit the Video Effects tab to proceed to the next step.

Under Video Effects, check the Transform checkbox.

^Does this sort mirror effect. On my VLC when I use this it puts the left on the right.

With GOM all you need to do is right click over the video image. Scroll to video where a new window hovers over your video/movie. The top selections are flip and mirror.

Might explain why Apple have bought a motion sensor company.
