I can see that going places. You could fix a lot of things with this. They could scan soldiers bodies prior to war. A leg blow off gets a visually-exact replacement. The wax museums don't need skilled artisans to hand build replicas of people. Totally accurate scaled down maps could be made. Space probes could send back scans to reproduce objects here on earth. Okay, well just saying.
