    DAB RADIO

I was considering buying a DAB radio to take to Thailand. Any update on the following would be appreciated:

    1. Is DAB radio available in Thailand.

    2. What is the coverage like.

    3. Any English stations listed.

I did Google but the info is not very definable as to whether it is up and running in
    Thailand.
To anticipate a question, ... DAB radio stations if available, can only be received and are specific to
    the country you reside in.

Digital Audio Broadcasting (DAB) is a digital radio technology for broadcasting radio stations, used in several countries, particularly in Europe. As of 2006, approximately 1,000 stations worldwide broadcast in the DAB format.

If you have a smartphone or tablet download the Tune In Radio App.I was listening to Radio 4 no problems in a Bangkok traffic jam a while back.
Can get 1000's of stations should find something you like.

Thanks. Yeah i am familiar with TuneIn App. Very good. If you like a Genre of pure music over the last 50 years without ads, talk, absolute no interruptions, RTE 24GOLD is class. Its also a DAB station. If you are into House/funky Jazz, RTE PULSE is good. Need a few beers in me to listen to Pulse
DAB is the future for Radio and the attraction is, that it does not require a broadband or Wi-Fi connection like TuneIn. Over the next few years the FM frequency will be switched off in Europe. Another attraction of DAB is no ads, interruptions, but as the FM frequency is switched off, its curious how DAB can be funded without ads in the future.
Then again the mighty BBC has survived without annoying ads.
