Galaxy S4 anyone?

Does anyone have the new S4, or had hands on experience w/ it? I'm on the fence about buying one. I've read the reviews but I'm wanting to read personal testimonials.

No I didn't buy one. It feels plastic and cheap for a very expensive device. No doubt it's a good phone.

Look at the HTC One. Compare them at the same time and you're unlikely to buy the Samsung.

The wifes got one. Seems almost identical to the S3 to me but I haven't had a proper look.

All depends if you prefer Samsung or Apple I guess and if you prefer a decent sized screen or not.

My S3 is a great phone. So I would recommend the S4 personally.

If you want an S4 then wait 3 months; it's very expensive at the moment. The Sony Xperia Z and HTC One are equal phones functionally, but both have better build quality. Both came out a month or 2 earlier, so their prices have already dropped a little; much better buys.

Edit to add: the Google Nexus 4 (if you can get hold of one...) is 95% as good as these three phones, but only half the price because Google have a different profit mechanism (apps and content). A great phone that feels much better in the hand than the Samsung S2/3/4.

I've a S3 and I'm no great fan. My wife has an IPhone5, I'm no great fan of Apple either (and I type this post on a MacBook, so I know what I'm talking about) but given the choice I would probably chose the iPhone.

^ Nexus 5 is coming and it has very exciting features, so if you are in the market for a top-of-the-range phone it's probably worth to wait a few month to see how it looks.

There's a few problems with that s4, such as overheating, battery drain and WiFi issues

A friend of mine just came back from the Uk and he bought a S4 mini? Not sold in Asia. Nice looking and small.

There was a Thai guy selling fake galaxy notes and iPhone 5s down soil nana a few weeks ago.
I haggled him down to 8k for the note 2. They are good copies but probably don't last 2 months

^I don't know Dill, but it was a pretty fair looking piece of hardware. Looked real to me. I've got a fixation now that I've seen one.
