    Best 70's song

I believe there is a couple of old timers here, plus a few people with some musical knowledge. What are the top three songs from the 70's ?

This is not a "post your 70's music" thread.

    Only the top 3

Here is a top of the 70's song video. I don't really agree with the person who made this video but it's a starting point.

And for you, what are the top 3 70's rock songs ?

The things we regret most is the things we didn't do

    Thanks for the first contributors.

I would never have thought of these songs as the top 3 of the 70's .

But it's ok, taste is always something very personal.

Feel free to post your top 3 70's songs and lets enjoy listening to them.

Maggie May and don't go breaking my heart were both number ones in the charts ,

There are very few songs about living in the 70's. Perhaps those of us around at the time are a bit embarassed about the fashion disasters. And haircuts. And disco. But heck, it was a fun time- for me anyhow. We were all vaguely ridiculous, and celebrated it with gusto. Bellbottoms, cuban heels n afro's, dope n dreadlocks, hairpins, doc martens n stovepipe jeans. Normality didn't become the new normal again, until the 80's.

    Only 3?
    Rather limiting.

    I could list 200 + favourites.
As the 70s was the decade for popular music.

    Old fooking woman?
Anyone who thinks Elton John and Kiki Dee singing 'Don't go breaking my heart' is in the top three tunes of the 70s is an old woman.
