Around about 1974 (Aladdin Sane time) whilst staying at a holiday camp I entered a fancy dress competition as David Bowie . My mum and sister took great pleasure in dressing me up in a lacy smock and plastering my face in make-up....Butlins at Bognor Regis just wasn't ready for me....they probably still aren't....I'll ring and ask.
I used to live in the same building as Bowie, weird looking fucker!
