^ you were the one blowing his trumpet when the special one signed him, or has all that Charlie addled your memory?
Pancake day today!!!
First ones been tossed down the back of the cooker, second ones on the floor and now in the dog.
Third one on the go...
Meat and salad hit..
I put this together, not too hard.
Diced up fresh garlic and browned it in olive oil. Drained it and sprinkled it over the salmon fillet using the oil to coat the baking pan prior to placing the fillet on it.
Sliced up a red bell pepper placing around the fillet.
Then lightly brushed the fillet with fresh olive oil.
Sprinkled oregano, rosemary, dry ginger powder and parsley along with the toasted garlic over the fillet.
Laid a few slices of lemon on fillet along with chopped green onion.
Oven on bake at 400 for 20 minutes then finish under broiler for the last few minutes.
This is half the fillet as it's dinner for two. I used one steamer tray, like one used for galapow, to steam the asparagus broccoli and brussel sprouts with ten minutes left in the process.
Miss Fish's plate with all the fixings. I fogot to mention the dash of fresh ground Lao peppercorns over the fillet prior to baking. The garlic bread was topped with butter grated Parmesan garlic salt oregano and parsley.
It sounds like a lot to do but really isn't. Give it a try, total prep time including baking maybe 35-40 minutes.
^Oops, that's just a different angle on the same dish. This was her take on the deal. I know, I snagged the bigger piece, needless to say she was very happy none the less.
I like making this dish. It's fun, simple and tastes great.
^Loads of veg, love it. Here's more veggies with some shake-n-bake chicken fillets on the side......
Breaded chicken should be served with chips and baked beans
I had my chicken roasted with gravy...

Looking good guys. Chicken and salmon are both great choices.
I picked up some Sweet Baby Ray's Honey Mustard dipping sauce that would go dreat with that shake and bake chicken.
Two thumbs up guys for for all the tasty looking dishes comming out lately.
I read that Dilly is on tour and can't wait to see the dishes he'll be posting. Room service for sure if I haven't misjudged his character.
Cheers and stay hungry guys.

Well I did have to make up for a disappointing lunch!
And seeing as we are halfway through the week a beer is called for- plus I can keep my eye on the neighborhood like the community-minded chap I am
^ Looks great! How much did that cost ya?
14USD, gotta love prices here
^
I have to say it looks well crucified but hopefully some (lamb?) flavour will be found underneath the ashes.
