Made a chicken liver curry and was totally stunned when it actually tasted like a chicken liver curry and not the usual amalgamation of indiscernible flavours I normally dish up.
Did jeyuk bokkeum on Sunday. Korean stir fried pork belly.
Pork belly, onions, spring onions, garlic, ginger, soya sauce, gochujang (Korean chili paste), gochugaru (a blend of chili flakes) and sugar. Didn't have any sesame seeds, unfortunately.
Came out really well and finished the last of it off today for lunch.
Chitty, I'll cook it for us next time I'm home.
^^^So that's where Chitty's bread thread stemmed from

Off me tits one night and ended up in Jilly's Rockworld on Oxford Rd. I thought I was seeing double and treble until I realised that everyone had gone for the Robert Smith look.
Even the birds.
My mate in Brum was a New Romantic who used to wear eyeliner and all that business in the 80s...
That soup look hard to swallow
Wasn't the Twisted Wheel me mam and dad's era, CCC?
When I was a teen in the 90s we were in 42s, 5th Ave and sometimes South on King Street (always pulled there too).
There's probably about a decade between ourselves at least, but I was in "the Hac" for Northside's last gig in the mid-90s and this is one of their classics IMHO: They always received bad press in the music mags but, for me, they could make people dance with their music and that was all that mattered at the time.
Btw, cheers for the greens for the Korean food, everyone. Really surprised by the interest in this dish, but I do have a couple of recipes that I know if you want them. You'll need Korean staples like gochujang if you wanna do it yourself though.
