That looks a very nice bun TB.
Fat Cow .. two locations in Shanghai.
They have about 20 different types of burgers, and 20 different types of salads. You can get the burger with fries or salad. I usually get the salad which is very tasty.. it is called Pesto Cow.. pesto with orzo pasta, feta, edamame and pumpkin seeds.
...^I question the accuracy of that fix...
^ Dodgy Dave done no good?
...we'd have to review the relevant data...
Standard bannork fare:
Do they eat the foot raw, or cook it first?
Just voted Best restaurant in Bangkok.....
550 baht for half a fukkin chicken before sides
...We've tried Cocotte (see review)...impressive offerings and great wine selection...worth the money, imo, for a special occasion...
That, and if you ride a horse that needs feeding.
Doing chicken, mash, gravy and some julienne green beans tonight. I will take a photo and we can compare. Very pricey vs old fashioned home cooking.
^^Home cooked roast chicken with the usual sides beats anything I've ever eaten in restaraunts, but I've never (and would never) pay 550 Baht for half a chicken, or a whole fucking chicken for that matter!. Bought 2 Betagro chickens this morning to cook tomorrow, we'll eat some hot and have plenty of leftovers in the fridge. About 170 Baht each and they're superb eating, pic from last week:
Sorry TC but I must disagree. I'll happily pay 1500++ Baht for a steak in a restaraunt because it's top-drawer imported beef that cost the restaraunt a pretty penny to buy in the first place, but the chicken they're serving cost them next to fuck all. Even if it's the very best free range organic chicken you can get in Thailand it still cost fuck all. So unless it's got a truffle stuffing or some such other high price point ingredient used in its prep, paying 550 Baht for half a bird then needing to spring for sides on top of that is a gouge. It's simply impossible for it to be that good, it's a local chicken FFS!.
