This is my lunch. It bristles with nutrients.

Now if you'll excuse me I have some de-ageing to do...

How odd. How very fucking odd indeed.

That 'shit' you refer to Sidney, is lentils, bulgur wheat and salmon.

As he said, shit. Where's the bacon? Where's the brown sauce? Where, for the love of God, are the CHIPS?? All that bicycling has turned you from a man to be envied and emulated for his ability to survive all that was the most depraved in food, alcohol, and sex into a quinoa slurping hipster in lycra. How the mighty have fallen

But alas, life was much simpler way back when lau khao was served for breakfast. It isn't easy being a rainbow-farting leaf muncher, you know - but I've just discovered a local brewery so hoping to be properly back on the piss presently.

    Not bad.

I've tried some Thai craft beers. I didn't really like them much; drinkable but that's about it. This one is much better.

Nev, related story here ... https://teakdoor.com/living-in-thaila...not-legal.html (Thai Craft Beers - still not legal - but ...)

Just need to point out, that that brown goop looks exactly like cat vomit.

Seriously though, hard core detox food, not far off what I normally eat (although I am less fussed about the "detox" side of it all). It starts to get hugely boring around the 4th or 5th month, and does not improve thereafter. Struggle is to keep variety.

What my diet has bought home to me is the inevitable link between "fat" and "flavour". You will start to crave fatty anything after a while.

Still good luck with it. Bet the "cat vomit" actually tastes quite good.

^That actually looks really good, slap.

He does get 'good fat' with the avocado. He gets fiber and protein from the bulgar and beans on top. He also gets good fats from the olives. I'd eat that for lunch. I usually eat something similar for lunch. Throw on a bit of salmon and you'll definitely be full and be full of nutrients and good health!

Chicken, Bacon, Mushroom pasta in a light cream sauce.

    Mise en place.... done.

Dry fry the mushrooms so that they release their water content and thus boost their actual flavour.

    [/URL]

Fry off the chicken pieces and the lardons of smoked German bacon. ( no need to add salt)

Combine the chicken, bacon and a nice bunch of fresh thyme.

add the sweated onion and garlic

Allow this to cook for about 5 minutes and then add the pasta along with cream. I used ''pasta cream''..... avoid. too thin. Use single cream

Season with black pepper. I used black Kampot pepper. No added salt as the bacon has sufficient.

    And you're done.

and enough for probably 3 meals for the freezer.

You kinda miss the point. Yes, he gets the "good fats". But its the nasty knarly ones that go with flavour. An avocado is pleasant enough, but it does not compare to a good, fat filled, juicy rib eye steak.

I eat almost no saturated fats - no red meat, no dairy, no almost everything. A bite of "normal food" can almost knock my socks off with the flavour.

    Some sadists on this forum.

Think I'll stick to regular exercise, low carbs and alcohol during weekdays, and an all round balanced diet.
