Bread of any type with pasta is barbaric.

Best plate of Thai/Western fusion food I've ever eaten...

    But what is it?

Looks like a pre-digested donner without the pitta bread.

They don't tend to whittle floral root vegetable arrangements in my local kebab emporium. And the last time I saw a pre-digested 'donner' kebab it certainly didn't look like that.

    Where do you live? Teddington?

But I agree, it doesn't look very appetising.

    .
No, but I'm in Shoreditch twice a week. You'be surprised what some of those pop-ups can do to a kebab.

Anyway, as a Masterchef afficionado I would describe that as a deconstructed som tam served three ways.

    Closest yet, Nidd.

I would reply to other people's answers but I don't know how to quote individual words and sentences with this new format.

Please tell me how to do it.

I can't remember. The usual disjointed description with emphasis on the word 'hot'.

Still, I'm yet to find a place over here that replicates the true Thai dining experience - I mean, what's a restaurant if there isn't a mangy dog licking its bollocks under the table?

    probably explains Fishes pictures.

True though - I cook the best pad krappow in the UK, bar none. Most places here put fucking onions in it? Seriously?

Closest place to real Thai style I have found was in Blackpool of all places.

Miles away from us though. But it was decent. Cycle up there and have a taste.

Not in the mood for rice. Can't be bothered cooking pasta. What to have with my Aussie minced beef? Ah. Of course. I know.

Tonight's Nevstranomic Nevstravaganza is, chilli beef and bean toasted sandwiches.

Step 1. Cook beef, add red kidney beans and spicy taco mix, and mix together.

Step 2. Toast 2 slices of wholemeal bread and add the beef to it.

Step 3. Put it all together.

    Step 4. Eat.

    Yum.

Thai micro/craft brews are growing in numbers and popularity!!!!
Seemed to have loosened up the reins as to controlled/limited availability and distribution.

Chiang Mai Red Truck red ale. Brewed and bottled in Cambodia.

    Not bad.

I've tried some Thai craft beers. I didn't really like them much; drinkable but that's about it. This one is much better.
