A light simple dinner. A sweet tea on the side as well. I'll have room left for an icecream later. As a kid we were forced to eat this kinda stuff because back then it was cheep. Not so much anymore.

Not Dinner but tomorrows lunch.Green leaf lettuce topped with Slices of Famous Daves spicy pickle chips, Pickled Leek, Pickled Garlic, Mezzeta mild pepper rings, Shaved Pickled Ginger, Cheese & Garlic Croutons, Fat free Ranch Dressing and Blue Cheese Crumbles. Also home made salsa with All natural El Milagro Tortilla Chips. P.S. Yes I really do eat that. Cheers. Now it's time for that icecream.

I thought the same thing yesterday and against my better judgement I bought one and ate it. They really are rubbish. I must remember to get a reminder tattood on the back of my hands so as not to fall into the same trap again.

About every other month I find a pork rib roast at Foodland. Last week they had them so I cooked it once again. Always the same way with mash and gravy. This time with roasted onions and broccoli.

I do kha mu every so often. Do you use Coca Cola? I'm not much into sweet savoury dishes but the Coke's phosphoric acid does tenderise quite well.
Also, I have a thing called a "Magic Cooker". Basically an insulated case for a custom pot. Works very well for sloww cooking. Just heat your food for a while, then instead of simmering for a few hours, put in the insulated case to stew in it's own heat. Very good for trotters and saves lots of gas... and doesn't need attending as there is no applied heat.

    I don't believe it.

Bullshut cuts of meat sauteed in copious amounts of salt, sugar & msg will never get old
