    God that looks good!!

On international drive , about three or four miles east from the speedway there is the Crab Stop restaurant.
If you go there , bring your appetite, a plastic tarp to cover your self 'cause there is a splash zone, and make sure your Cardiologists bill is paid up 'cause you'r going to need him soon.

Crab and shrimp boil with plenty of paprika, corn , potatoes and a few pieces of kielbasa sausage,
Not my picture, I took it from their gallery, I do have pictures from last time I went there with Nuy and my daughter, but try to find it now.

The sooner you fall behind, the more time you have to catch up.

Garlic has magical properties is the claim. Maybe. Me? I love the taste of the "stinking rose".

^Love it. Not many better kitchen aromas / sounds than garlic (and chili onions etc) hitting the oil in a smoking hot wok.

^This thread would be totally dead if it wasn't for your constant and valuable input .

Anyway we all remember your post looking for a BOH cooking job (I can post the link if that helps) and I've found the perfect gig for you!. There's a few curve-balls, being:
    (1) You requested Bangkok or Pattaya as a location but this is in Koh Samui. It's not hard to get to Samui though, it's an Island in Thailand and Google can help you. It's quite nice there.
    (2) No mention of the Work Permit you requested, or indeed if a Farang can apply, but once they find out you're a Yank with a high culinary background doors will open!.

    Dinner-wannabe-job-jpg

No need to thank me, just trying to help you make that first connection with Thailand that you're so clearly missing out on.
Maybe you could post a few pics of some of signature dishes though, that'd be great

A part of the Banana shake is visible. Didnt get home to an empty house until 8pm last night after going out on Friday for just a few quiet beers.

^^^^^That stuff is the bomb sober, drunk, or hungover. A true superfood

Really felt like some spag & meatballs tonight, walked a few paces from home and did something about it.
