Looks dangerous AF when watching people make Yorkies at home as they pour the batter mix into tins with oil in them that's so hot it's smoking!. Great final results in the 2 pics above though.

Thanks Headworks... the volume of batter and it's relative thickness compared to the oil quickly subdues any spitting. Using a jug rather that say, a spoon, also reduces any exposure. No splashes here.
To me they look great Tosti but when I speak to a bloke from Yorkshire they claim they are not true Yorkshire Puddings.
They want more of a full Mushroom shaped form with it closed with a void inside and soft and creamy inside and crisp on the outside.
My missus maks toad in the hole puddings based upon the same shape as yours.
Good job anyway mate.
Great the thread is back on track. Thanks Mods!
Once again all I want to know, and not coming from the area that Yorkshire Puddings originated, is the proper shape of a traditional Yorkshire pudding.
Thanks in advance!

Why do foriners always talk about people from Yorkshite like they're emblematic of the UK? I was in an airport n South America a few weeks back and someone said to me "that sounds like a Yorkshite accent."
No, it doesn't. And it never will do.
