Nobody told me there'd be days like these.

In all honesty it's one of my off days and I didn't feel like drinking so I baked some fudge brownies for the little woman and I to share.

Sobriety ain't so bad after all.

Felt like roast chicken with mashed spud, beans, and lashings of gravy for dinner today. Then did something about making it happen.

^ Mate, looks great but, looks like you didn't use the locally grown Thai long bean?

    Am I wrong?

My Thai Partner doesn't like the taste of 'Western' beans and we grow the long bean.

David I have no idea what sort of beans they are!. I just buy them, cut them up, steam them, and toss them in EVOO. You made me go bin dipping in my own kitchen to get this shot

^^Yes Foodland would love it if everyone binned things like this a day after their *expiry date* and went back to buy more. Especially if we're talking about their 4000 Baht per Key USDA Black Angus steaks

Yes.....supposed "fresh" veges [or anything, for that matter] encased in plastic wrap and styrofoam purchased conveniently at the Western-style supermarkets.

Guess these folks aren't aware that fresh produce, and other principled items, are quite available [real fresh] at their local Thai markets everyday.

    Pathetic.

No Jeff. Pathetic is *claiming* to be from a culinary background but the only thing you've ever posted in this thread (besides your perpetual total bullshit obviously) was ONE photo of some revolting insect larvae and raw shredded papaya dish served in a kitchen that would make a soi dog vomit.

What I'm trying to say, in a roundabout sort of fashion, is go fuck yourself you dead cvnt.

I much prefer those fresh spring rolls to the deep fried ones we get here. The bread is also to die for.... so close and yet so for culinary-wise far away

If only the French had gotten off their frogs and colonized Thailand as well as Laos, Cambo and 'Nam, it would have ended up a much better place to live. Fokin' Siam bufferzone.
