Its a 4 letter word at the moment, still hobbling along on my ankle but managed to get in a round of golf with a friend at that pitch and putt.

We were on the green of the first hole when this old German/ Scandinavian guy about 80 starts clapping his hands and screaming something at us from the tee off place.

I hit my ball out of bounds and lost it behind the net to the right on the second hole, so wasnt in the best of moods when we decided to let him go past us.

The cheeky old bastard decided to stop and give us a lecture on his way past about it being a professional sport, so I told him to fuck off and keep walking. The old fucker had pinged his ball straight onto the green too

I felt quite bad after... was i in the wrong?

Seriously though, that's very much a beginners course where people who've never played the game can have a bash and some fun. If Boxenkopf wants to play serious golf, he should be on a serious golf course where the typical player is experienced and knows golf etiquette.
