    Flapjacks

I haven't made any yet but I'm going to give 'em a go, and I'll post the results.
Flapjacks are really dowdy don't you think, got that real homebake image about them. Well I like them and they're cheap and great energy food, so I've been looking through recipies and seems like everyone has a different opinion, so what's your thoughts? Plain, fruited, crispy, chewy, honey, golden syrup.. demarara or soft brown sugar..

I'm going to try unsalted butter, honey and demerara sugar, hopefully it'll come out chewy with a bit of crunch... hopefully... and for the oats I'm going to use a museli mix I get from the Poles, rolled oats but lots of dried fruit and seeds in there too. Now that's the plan, better go and buy the stuff.

Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside in a cloud of smoke, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming "Wow! What a Ride!"
