On a promise, need peppercorn sauce

The teenage devil is away at camp so the missus and I have big plans for tonight. Instead of going out and having a meal, her indoors wants to stay indoors and have a bit of rump. She said we need to spice up our lives and could I make a peppersauce for the meat.

Recipes on the net have all sorts of indgredients that are hard to come by in 4 hours - does anyone have a very simple recipe?

    Cheers.

In wide frying pan over medium-high heat, melt butter and oil. Add steak and brown well on both sides, 3-5 minutes per side. Add brandy to pan, heat and ignite, shaking until flames die. Remove meat to carving board. Add to pan shallots, peppercorns, wine, whipping cream, mustard, tarragon, salt and pepper to taste. Increase heat to high and reduce sauce until ???????????? bubbles form. While sauce cooks, slice meat diagonally. Stir meat juices into sauce. To serve, top steak with sauce.

    Same same steak charlotte.
    Except that has worcestershire sauce.
    And no tarragon.

    2 talbe spoons of butter
    3-4 table spoons plain flower
2 stock cubes in a cup of hot water
    Black pepper corns or green
Melt the butter in a frypan stir in the flower till thick, add the stock.
If it is still to thick add water.
It take about 3 minutes taste like the gravy in KFC

Well, over spiced it a bit too much- 4 large leos during the preparation and a litre or 2 of Hardy's Cabernet Sauvignon during the romancing left the flag at half mast when the drawbridge was breached. Alarm is set for 5.30am. Early to bed, early to rise....

Gallowspole, you may want to look up words like "romantic" and stuff like that, pretty sure none of the definitions mention getting pissed whilst making dinner thats only fit for your dog and then drunkenly climbing on top of your partner probably whilst dribbling and stuff with an un-erect penis, are you Australian?

^fugging Geordie lasses understand what a romantic meal is. They know what side their kebab is buttered on.

Fecking Cosmopolitan and too many Mills and Boon have given the rest ideas above their station. I'll go for Pizza Company's sausage rimmer with extra cheese next time. Save me a bit of foreplay.

Yeah can't blame you, think he is from up north so you would need to give him a good hosing down in the garden before you let him into your house, still, I'm sure there must be other willing volunteers, doesn't peterpan live in the area?

Peterpan does live near here, but I suspect he prefers tinkering with his own tinker balls.

Fek, time for sleep.....just drank 4 bottles of water .... guaranteed early morning boner.
