^ That looks like a green curry. Masaman doesn't have the thai egg plants in.

Mostly I eat Kapow when eating Thai, can't get enough of it

You've gotta get yourself a good one. Its one of the best curries and is right up there in my top 3.

They are dead simple to make. All you need is Masaman Curry Paste, Chicken (or really good beef), Potatoes, Onion, Coconut Milk and Peanuts.

The Roi Thai sauce that Sabai used is just a mix of paste and coconut milk and paste I think. I've got some in the fridge but never used them. Probably out of date now.

If your a curry and chips man, (like myself ) then masaman is the closest you can get to an English Chinese, Chippy style, curry and chips. If that makes sense.

And TFP this was even better than a chip shop curry.

Maybe i'm a bit prejudiced after experimenting with all these Thai dishes full of 20 chilli's in each.

I never could eat a vindaloo back home

And them balls I see in Thai dishes everywhere, I always thought testicles off some animal, so I never tried

I'm a sunday roast kinda guy i think

If you are talking about the green balls then they are thai egg plants. The come in 2 sizes, big, and small ones that look like over sized peas. Both taste like vomit to me hence they were the first thai word that I learned before I could even say hello. Thats how much I love green curry.

I don't know how to write it in English but I'll have a crack. Macleuh. But you kind of have to stick your tongue out around the euh at the end to get the sound right.

I found that it pointless asking for a dish without them because the vomit taste has already been cooked into the sauce when the restaurant picks them out for you so the only way to get a decent one is to cook your own.

    Vindaloo's are awsome!!!!

One of my best mates over here is Indian and he still lives with his parents. (sad bastard!) Anyway its great for me because his mum will never let me leave the house without eating some indian food and if his dad shows up then he gets his special collection of reserve mango chutneys out for me and cooks up some proper popadoms>
