Thread: Salsa

Now I normally make my own salsa, got a few of those small Thai Moccona coffee jars which are about the perfect size as I'm the only one who eats it, over the last 6 months I have been making it spicier and spicier, which is ok but then it only tastes of chilli, the last straw was sometime last month when I used the wrong attachment on the liquidiser and it came out as a liquid, yep no chunks of tomato or anything, just a salsa juice.

So I decided to buy a jar of ready made stuff, they got quite a selection of different salsa at my local supermarket of which most I have tried before, then I noticed that Nana is making salsa, they normally do Italian food sauces which I have never tried as the Italian restaurant down the road is so cheap anyway, they got 3 different salsa, I bought the El Sapo (The Sceptic?) which is the medium one with jalapeno in it, got to admit it is better than anything I have ever made.
