    High heat -

Put 2 tablespoons of olive oil in a frying pan and get it hot.

Add 1/4 cup of diced onions and a teaspoon of nutmeg

Add your pork and the juice from the can of beans and brown all of it.

    Lower the heat -

After that add beans and 1/4 cup of chili sauce and simmer.

as its simmering add a 1/4 teaspoon of the following -

garlic salt, paprika, black pepper, nutmeg

also add 2 tablespoons of brown sugar.

As it cooks add a tablespoon of of Worcestershire Sauce every minute or so to taste until it is scorched.

Cook the mixture until it is a thick consistency.

    Serve with fresh onions.

You can make it super hot or mild depending on the Thai chili sauce you use.

What is the remedy for the heartburn that follows ?

And how well does this inspire rectal flatulence.

Looks good , much better than the Heinz canned stuff sold where finding anything that resembles a piece of meat is like finding a needle in a haystack.

It is the Thai chili sauce that makes the meal.

I have started to use it in a variety of dishes.

Make sure it is Thai chili sauce and not Thai chili paste.

Hey Chi try a hot sauce made here called Wolf Sauce, the garlic stuff is killer, I use it to do the same thing to beans that you do.

The Thai chili sauce takes care of anything "sweet".

Just leave the 5 kilos or whatever it is of sugar in Chi's original recipe out.

The Thai baked beans are OK if you make sure to get the low sugar cans. They have a blue band around the top of the can. I had Heinz back in UK and I think I now prefer the low sugar Thai ones.
I'm off out to get the pork and beans, for a change I have all the other ingredients in my cupboard.
I should think a pretty windy dish, better not go teaching the morn after!

You Poms have always had trouble converting to metric.

BTW I forgot one ingredient - 2 tablespoons of regular mustard. Not that crappy hot British mustard. Frenches is the best.

Hey Chi, you remember that guy don in phuket who is closing down. Well he is putting out much more stuff. Today foodland had his Jalapeno, and Habanero hot sauces.
