saw this just now when i was taking my dog for a walk.
i wonder what makes the ad company think that being german is such a desirable thing to be?

A while back Beck sponsored a tv show about chutney ferrets in the UK.
They thought they were being soooooo PC.
The fucking arse fell out of sales overnight and they pulled the sponsorship faster than you could say "hide the sausage".

This German campaign is the worst in the world....probably

Funny that because Beck's has the repu of being an 'alternative lifestyle' beer here in the States.

I'll take a Steinlager but in a Beck's (might actually make it taste better).

    Be German, Drink Becks.

Yeah, Sit around drinking it at one of your compatriots wifes store at 10 am with your friends everyday. Have your fat, sweaty stomach hanging out, demanding service immediately in the loudest possible voice, while totally ignoring any attempt for someone from another country to make a friendly conversation.

You could accuse several nationalities of similar behaviour,
not least of which are the English!

Come on, we'd all like to be German every now and again....not for any extended period of time, obviously, but when you just want to ignore the feelings of others and dive in and grab it....Like walking straight to the front of the ATM queue and spitting at anyone who dares to complain.
Back off Margaret, you're on a sugar rush!
