    Pizza anyone?

Yesterday i got myself a new piece of kitchen equipment. An oven. Today was time to test it out, so i decided on a straight forward pizza to see whether the oven would work, or whether it would launch itself into orbit upon ignition. With some trepidation, i fired it up, and was rewarded with instant heat. Closed the door and started chopping.

Red chillies, fresh pineapple, green chillies, onion, garlic, tomatoes, green pepper, ham, and loads of mature cheddar cheese.

Then prepared the base with a tomatoe and onion puree mixed in with oregano and mushed up garlic.

Then piled on all the good stuff.

Ready for the now hot oven.

    15 minutes later, and.........

A little bit of carving into pretty triangles

    JOB DONE.

    BELCH.

That pizza looks okay, but I think it's about time you spend another 20 baht and buy yourself a kitchen knife that doesn't look as the one you used......like it's been used as a screwdriver, a can-opener, a pry-bar, a wire cutter or a hammer....

Foodland, you can run a rolling pin over it and flatten it out by 25% as well. Kids love them.

Nice job on the pizza, if you cut the cheese into very very small chunks or shave it off the bar you will get a lot more to distribure more freely.

Damn that thing looked good. Just pick off the pineapple.

A truly amazing effort given that I know the limit of your culinary skills. I suspect however that GF actually did all the work and you only participated in the photo shots.

Oh Yes! Do you really have the recipe for a 'curry base' - the one you said formed the foundation of all curries but was then modified to taste / strength / flavour? I think we should be told in order to lend credibility to your pizza thread. MH.

    Nice first attempt!

Shave the cheese, don't cut it so you get a more even spread. Of course if you can make your own base it would be even better!

Oh yeah, and not enough pineapple
