    Culinary extravaganza

After a drought of like 6 months or more of lacking natures nectar of the gods, the lifeblood of many supreme aussie athletes.....we pigged out on vegemite last night and this morning.

The 2 very large jars of Veg arrived at a strange hour, near dark on the back of the posties bike.

We had just finished dinner....so what better thing to have for dessert....vegemite on toast...wooohooooo.

Should have seen the shit arse grin on my daughters face when she opened the package and saw the bright red and yellow jar.

So we hogged down several slices of toast and veg for desserrt last night....all went to sleep satified with full bellies for the first time in 6 months......only to be dreaming of waking and having a plate full of delicious hot toast and vegemite again for brekky.

For dinner....we have planned....toast and veg for entree and toasted veg and cheese sangers for mains and maybe veg and icecream for dessert......hmmmmm life just became complete again.

I like poisoning my neighbours dogs till they die cos I'm a cnut

    Peanut butter.....christ, get real.

Must admit though, after 46 years and never being a fan of PB....i have recently been spreading it on fresh french bread sticks and covering it with honey.....hmmmmmm tasty, must be crunchy though.

    Correction, he said the RSPCC.

Calling Nawtys kids "animals" is a bit harsh DD. even if there might be the occasional moment of truth.

    Fried Eggs On Vegemite Toast.

    Easily the breakfast of champions.

One large and very fresh Hens egg (or two 0r three)

One loaded desertspoon of fresh Allowrie Butter

One thick Toasted slice of your Fav Bread

Melt the butter in your fav large frypan being sure to add your egg(s before it boils. NEVER EVER use oil to cook your eggs ... thats reserved for heathens .

Eggs will cook super fast so keep an eye and flip early.

Butter your toast)s and being sure not to double dip...Use a fresh /clean stainless steel (imported) butter knife to spread your toast liberally with KRAFT VEGEMITE (Australias favorite since 1923)

Slide your Fresh cooked eggs from the pan and centre them neatly on your bakers best ... the smell of steaming vegemite should now be filling your nostrils and stirring your loved ones from slumber.

No need to salt your Eggs , but a sprinkling of Kraft cheddar and a fresh fried Tomato half will add zest to the picture.

Finish off with a hot cup of maccona freeze dried and your good to go.

    Weetbix with honey anyone ?

    Bon appertit.

    Very nice.

Being a simple bloke I like some fresh crusty bread, toasted (alla bruschetta) a smear, a healthy one, of the sacred black cream, thinly sliced fresh tomatoes (home grown) a sprinkle of fresh diced basil, a smidgen of extra virgin olive oil and a couple of liters of ice cold white wine ( Orvieto Classico for preference)

    A regal snack.

I prefer the yeast extract for men, rather than the tame girly shit they have in Aus, but each to their own.

If by that you mean Moccona coffee then it proves beyond a shadow of doubt that you have damaged taste buds.

    Shittymite followed by shitty coffee.

Nawts, I gotta give you and your fellow aussies credit if you can eat that stuff.
I tried it for the first time over the weekend and I was amazed at how awful it is.
If you can eat Vegemite voluntarily, I take my hat off to you.

    Go Vegemite! . . . . but "Is Vegemite's iSnack toast?"

    Is Vegemite's iSnack toast?

T MUST have seemed like a good idea at the time. But no sooner had Kraft trumpeted the name of its new Vegemite variant, iSnack 2.0, than it was met with almost universal condemnation by customers.

On Saturday, the internet bristled with indignation at the name chosen from 48,000 suggestions by Vegemite fans as part of a public relations campaign to name its new cheese-based spread.
